Emma sat an ICAS Exam (International Competitions and Assessments for Schools) for Writing and achieved Distinction. Congratulations Emma, that is an outstanding achievement!
Corban helped his soccer team win a tournament, and was awarded a very impressive looking medal. He wore it to church this morning (check out the photo!)
I had an excellent time with the children on Sunday at their banquet, and thank you very much for inviting me and Moe. One of the most precious thing I loved about Sunday was the chance to sit down with the children and not only share a meal with them but to have a conversation with them.
ReplyDeleteI loved the questions and hopefully I was able to provide the answers although there was one question I wasn't able to give an answer because I wanted to make sure I can answer that in a way the children can understand. The bibles some religion use have about 4 or 5 extra books we don't have in the bibles we use at church, and this is the point where I needed to be very careful about answering the question. Overall it was a beautiful and an enjoyable day for me. I want to thank everyone who were involved in organizing the event, you know who you are and thank you Melanie for the invitation.
